At Puy en Velay , a glazed pedestrian arcade,  originating from a vast forecourt, integrates the new ‘Emile Roux’ Hospital with its historical site, placing it in a permanent visual relationship with its exceptional environment, and creating a real urban landmark. The hospital site was totally reconstructed in three phases and remained entirely functional during constrution works.
